Privacy

We try to keep this simple. OtterKit collects only basic analytics — things like which pages get visited and roughly where visitors come from — so we know which guides are useful and worth updating. We don't ask you to create an account to read anything.

Like most sites, we use cookies, mostly for analytics and to remember small preferences. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time, and the site will still work, though some conveniences may reset.

We don't sell or hand your data to third parties for their own marketing. Any analytics tools we use process data on our behalf to give us aggregate numbers, not profiles of individual readers. If you email us, we keep that message only as long as we need to reply and follow up.

If you have a question about your data or want something removed, write to us at the contact address and we'll sort it out. We'd rather over-explain than leave you guessing.
