Winning Tideborn Command starts with supply lines

July 29, 2026 · Marek Dvořák

Most of my early losses in Tideborn Command came from the same mistake: I pushed my fleet too far and watched it crawl while the enemy repaired at home. Supply range isn't a suggestion here, it's the whole game.

The fix was learning to build a forward base before any big assault. Capture a nearby island, set up repairs there, and suddenly your ships fight at full speed instead of limping into a siege.

Use the pause button shamelessly. I treat Tideborn like a planning game — pause, assign targets, unpause, watch, repeat. Trying to micro it live is how you lose your flagship to a swarm you didn't see.

Lastly, don't over-produce ships. A bloated fleet strains your supply and slows everything down. A lean, well-supplied group beats a huge, hungry one almost every time.
